Description
Create hands-on mathematical experiences for your young learner with these colorful and tactile 3D printed rods. Each rod represents a single integer (1-10) composed of a fixed number of blocks representing its value. Learners can manipulate the rods to compare values and to visualize operations like addition and subtraction. All rods are beveled (no sharp corners!) and have raised numbers for a multi-sensory experience.
Customize the colors you want for your blocks. All blocks have white numbers. We recommend blocks have one color for even integers and another for odd integers to reinforce the concept of odds and evens, but you are free to stick with one block color for all ten pieces.
Besides paving the way to developing essential skills with mathematical operations, these rods can reinforce other concepts, including:
• Number recognition
• Number bonds and families
• Less than or greater than comparisons
WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD – Small parts. Not for children under 3 years of age.
